Low gear delivers 0-400rpm with up to 136Nm of torque, while high gear reaches up to 1500rpm with 55Nm for faster drilling.

Makita's Automatic Torque Drive Technology (ADT) automatically adjusts speed and torque while working to maintain optimum performance as the resistance of the ground changes.

The DG002G can drill holes up to 150mm in high-resistance soil and up to 200mm in lower-resistance soil, giving you plenty of capacity for a wide range of groundwork applications.

The spindle design allows the auger bit to be attached directly to the tool for a secure connection. A reverse function also helps release the auger if it becomes jammed in compacted or resistant ground.

For improved control, the built-in torque limiter helps protect the gearing if the auger binds, while soft start provides smoother initial operation and the electric brake brings the tool to a quick stop.

Twin LED work lights with pre-glow and afterglow functions illuminate the drilling area, helping improve visibility when working in poor light.

At the heart of the tool is Makita's efficient brushless motor, delivering strong performance with reduced maintenance and improved use of battery power.
