Timco 8.0 x 75mm Timber Construction Screws Hex Head Self-Tapping Thread - Box of 100

The Timco 8.0 x 75mm Zinc Plated Hex Head Coach Screws are traditional heavy duty timber fixings for joining timber and attaching ironmongery to wood.

Made from carbon steel, these coach screws are suitable for hardwood and softwood applications, offering a practical fixing solution for timber construction work.

The external hex head accepts a 13mm socket, giving you a positive grip when tightening the screw.

Each screw features a sharp point and a 60° self-tapping thread designed to engage with the timber as it is driven in.

The partially threaded design includes a 45mm threaded section and a plain upper shank, with an overall screw length of 75mm.

Pilot holes may be required in certain hardwoods, so the self-tapping thread does not remove the need for preparation in every application.

These hex head timber screws can also be used for fixing into brick when paired with an appropriate nylon plug.

The zinc plated finish provides corrosion protection for clean, dry environments with low humidity, corresponding to corrosion rating 1.
