The Timco 3.0 x 12mm Classic Multi-Purpose Screws PZ1 combine secure holding power with efficient driving across hardwood, softwood, chipboard, MDF, plastic and thin sheet metal.

Made from carbon steel, these multi-purpose woodscrews feature a 40° deep single thread that grips the surrounding material to provide high pull-out resistance.

The double countersunk head helps reduce the likelihood of head shear and assists countersinking, allowing the screw to seat neatly into the surface.

A PZ1 Pozi recess provides the driving connection, while the 25° sharp point helps the screw start quickly and engage with the material.

TIMCO’s patented Gleitmo lubrication improves insertion performance and provides additional resistance to corrosion, helping repeated fixing tasks run smoothly.

The screws are surface hardened to resist torque shearing under load, with a hardened core for improved ductility.

Their zinc and yellow passivated finish provides corrosion rating 2 protection for occasionally damp or wet conditions in rural and sheltered areas.

Each screw has a 3.0mm diameter, 12mm overall length and 7mm threaded section, with a fully threaded design.
