KNIPEX 48 11 J1 140mm Precision Circlip Pliers

The KNIPEX 48 11 J1 140mm Precision Circlip Pliers are designed for installing and removing internal circlips in bore holes, providing accurate and controlled handling for professional assembly, maintenance and repair work.

Suitable for bore diameters from 12-25mm, the pliers feature straight 1.3mm tips manufactured from high-density spring steel wire. The tips are positively inserted into the pliers using a cold-forming and compression process, providing excellent stability and dependable performance.

Designed for demanding continuous use, the inserted tips can provide up to 10 times longer service life than conventional turned tips. Large contact surfaces behind the tips help hold circlips securely while reducing the risk of distortion during installation and removal.

The precision bolted joint provides smooth, zero-backlash operation, allowing manual force to be carefully controlled. This makes the pliers particularly useful when working with smaller circlips or in confined installation areas.

Manufactured from chrome vanadium electric steel, the pliers are oil-hardened and tempered for strength and long service life. The grey atramentised finish and finely ground head complete the durable professional construction.
