KNIPEX 48 11 J2 180mm Precision Circlip Pliers

The KNIPEX 48 11 J2 180mm Precision Circlip Pliers are designed for installing and removing internal circlips in bore holes, providing accurate control and dependable performance for professional assembly, maintenance and repair work.

Suitable for bore diameters from 19-60mm, the pliers feature straight 1.8mm tips manufactured from high-density spring steel wire. The tips are positively inserted into the pliers using a cold-forming and compression process, providing excellent stability and a long service life.

Designed for demanding continuous use, the inserted tips can last up to 10 times longer than conventional turned tips. Large contact surfaces behind the tips provide a secure grip on the circlip while helping prevent distortion during fitting and removal.

A precision bolted joint provides smooth, zero-backlash movement, allowing the force applied to the circlip to be carefully controlled. This is particularly useful when working in confined areas or with smaller components where accurate handling is essential.

Manufactured from chrome vanadium electric steel, the pliers are oil-hardened and tempered for strength and durability. The grey atramentised finish and finely ground head complete the professional construction.

Non-slip plastic-coated handles provide a secure grip and comfortable control, while the slim head design helps improve access when working in restricted spaces.
