The KNIPEX 49 11 A1 140mm Precision Circlip Pliers are designed for installing and removing external circlips on shafts, providing the control and accuracy required for professional assembly, servicing and repair work.

Suitable for shaft diameters from 10-25mm, the pliers feature straight 1.3mm tips manufactured from high-density spring steel wire. The tips are positively inserted into the pliers using a cold-forming and compression process for excellent stability and long-lasting performance.

Designed for demanding continuous use, the inserted tips can provide up to 10 times longer service life than conventional turned tips. Large contact surfaces behind the tips help hold circlips securely while reducing the risk of distortion during fitting and removal.

An integrated overexpansion guard helps prevent circlips from being opened beyond their intended range, giving you greater control and helping protect the component during installation.

The precision bolted joint provides smooth, zero-backlash movement, while the captive internal opening spring assists with controlled opening and remains protected inside the handle.
