KNIPEX 74 01 140 High Leverage Diagonal Cutter 140 mm

The KNIPEX 74 01 140 140mm High Leverage Diagonal Cutter is a compact, powerful cutter designed for tough, continuous professional use across electrical, construction, automotive and general maintenance work.

Its high leverage design combines an optimised cutting edge angle, joint and transmission ratio to deliver excellent cutting performance with less effort. Compared with conventional diagonal cutters of the same length, the design can provide around a 20% saving in the force required when cutting hard wire.

Precision cutting edges allow the cutter to handle a wide range of wire types, including medium-hard wire up to 3.1mm, hard wire up to 2.0mm and piano wire up to 1.5mm.

The cutting edges are additionally induction hardened to approximately 64 HRC, helping maintain reliable cutting performance through demanding and repeated applications.

Manufactured from forged chrome vanadium electric steel and oil hardened in multiple stages, the cutter combines excellent strength and stability with a low weight of just 131g.

At only 140mm long, the compact design fits easily into a work pocket or toolbox while still providing serious cutting capability. Non-slip plastic-coated handles provide a secure and comfortable grip throughout the working day.
