KNIPEX 85 51 250 AF 250mm Spring Hose Clamp Pliers

The KNIPEX 85 51 250 AF 250mm Spring Hose Clamp Pliers are designed for securely opening, holding and moving a wide range of spring hose clamps, particularly when access is limited.

Suitable for standard, space-saving, spring wire and spring band clamps up to 70mm nominal size, the pliers offer more than 40mm of clamping range to cover a wide variety of automotive and mechanical applications.

Rotating universal grip inserts allow the clamp to be securely gripped from different angles, making it easier to work around awkward components and inside confined engine bays. The jaw inserts can even be rotated while under load, helping you position the tool exactly where it is needed.

A built-in locking device holds the clamp under tension without requiring you to continuously squeeze the handles. Once the clamp is positioned, the mechanism can be released using one hand, making repetitive hose and clamp work considerably easier.

The long handles provide excellent leverage, allowing larger spring clamps to be opened with reduced effort. A slim, narrow head further improves access where working space is restricted.

An additional serrated jaw can be used to gently loosen hoses that have become stuck to their fittings, giving the pliers another useful function during maintenance and repair work.

Manufactured from forged, oil-hardened chrome vanadium electric steel, the pliers are built for regular professional use. Non-slip plastic-coated handles provide a secure grip while working.
