The Makita 9 Piece 18V LXT Power Tool Kit brings together drilling, fastening, cutting, grinding, sanding and clean-up tools on one interchangeable battery platform.

Supplied with a 5.0Ah battery, a 6.0Ah battery, a 240V charger and a large wheeled bag, it provides a versatile cordless setup for builders, carpenters and installation tradesmen.

The DHP484 combi drill handles everyday drilling and screwdriving, while the DTD158 impact driver delivers up to 170Nm of torque for repetitive fastening.

For heavier masonry work, the DHR242 SDS+ rotary hammer provides 2.0J impact energy, a 24mm concrete drilling capacity and rotary drilling, hammer drilling and chiselling modes.

The DHS680 165mm circular saw tackles straight timber and sheet cuts, with a maximum cutting depth of 57mm at 90°.

Alongside it, the DJV182 jigsaw provides controlled curves, cut-outs and bevel cuts, with three orbital settings and tool-free blade changes.

The DTM51 multi tool adds access for trimming, sanding and scraping with the appropriate accessories, using a variable speed dial and tool-free accessory clamp.

For grinding and cutting tasks, the DGA504 accepts 125mm discs and features automatic speed control, soft start and anti-restart protection.

The DBO180 random orbital sander uses a 125mm pad and three speed settings to balance material removal with finishing control.

Its through-pad dust collection and supplied dust bag help keep the working surface clearer during sanding.

When the work is finished, the compact DUB185 blower provides three air volume settings and variable trigger control for clearing loose debris.
