The Makita DLX2539ST 18V LXT Brushless 2 Piece Combo Kit is a versatile cordless twin pack designed for tradespeople who need dependable drilling, hammer drilling and fastening performance in one convenient package.

Combining the DHP490 brushless combi drill with the compact DTD157 brushless impact driver, the kit also includes two 18V 5.0Ah LXT batteries, a DC18SD charger and carry case, providing a practical complete setup for professional site and workshop use.

The DHP490 combi drill combines compact dimensions with a powerful brushless motor, delivering up to 65Nm maximum torque.

Its two speed transmission offers 0 to 500rpm and 0 to 1,900rpm, while hammer drilling delivers up to 28,500 impacts per minute.

With drilling capacities of 38mm in wood and 13mm in both steel and masonry, plus a 1.5 to 13mm chuck, it is well equipped for everyday drilling, installation and fixing applications.

For rapid screwdriving and fastening, the DTD157 impact driver delivers up to 140Nm maximum fastening torque from a compact 133mm long body. Two speed ranges provide up to 3,000rpm and 4,100 impacts per minute, while the 1/4 inch hex drive enables quick accessory changes. Its compact dimensions make it particularly useful when fastening in restricted spaces.

Both tools use efficient brushless motor technology, providing a combination of compact construction, efficiency and reduced maintenance.

The DHP490 also features mechanical two speed gearing, variable speed control, LED illumination and XPT protection for improved resistance to dust and water, while integrated battery protection helps protect against overload, over discharge and overheating.

Imagine fitting timber studwork before installing cabinets and fixtures. The DHP490 can drill timber and masonry for the required fixings, while the DTD157 takes over for rapid screwdriving and fastening.

With two 5.0Ah batteries supplied, one battery can remain available while the other powers either tool, helping create an efficient workflow without repeatedly swapping accessories between machines.

For professional users wanting a compact and capable introduction or addition to Makita's 18V LXT platform, the Makita DLX2539ST combines two essential cordless tools with batteries, charging and storage in one convenient package.
